Standard Terms & Conditions

Insurance

The inclusive Fully Comprehensive insurance covers, 'Insured Driver', of minimum age of 25-30 years. Charge for additional driver is £15 per day subject to our insurer's approval.

Age and Licence Restrictions

Prices are based on drivers being aged between 25 & 30 (dependant on car) to 70 years of age. All drivers must have held a full licence for a minimum of two years, must have no more than 3 current points on their licence and are subject to approval on completion of an Supreme Sports Car Hire Ltd insurance proposal form. Any convictions for drink or drug driving, dangerous or careless driving within the past 5 years will not be accepted. Overseas licences are accepted subject to the above conditions. Drivers must not have been involved in an accident in the past 3 years and must not have been convicted of motoring offences in categories CU/IN/LC/MS/PC/PL/SP/TS in the last 3 years. We have the right to refuse any driver on production of a licence that does not comply with our insurance policy. Please note it may still be possible to hire if you are under 30 but over 25 or have up to 6 penalty points, please fill out an enquiry form and we will notify you if we can accept you to drive, there may be an additional cost for insurance for special cases. Other cases can be considered, please forward all of your details and we will give an insurance quote if possible. With exception to ‘Self Insurance’ please ask for more details. All hires and cancellations are subject these terms and conditions and it is deemed that you have read and understood them before making a booking.

Booking & Cancellation

We require a Booking Fee of £100, refunded against the cost of hire; refunds upon cancellation are subject to the terms and restrictions below. Bookings are only confirmed when paid for in full, bookings must be paid for in full at least 30 days before hire commences or at the time of booking if less than 30 days. Cancellations 60-30 days prior to hire date - 100% refund of hire charge, subject to a minimum charge of £100. Cancellations 29-15 days prior to hire date - 75% refund of hire charge, subject to a minimum charge of £100, Gift Vouchers are Non Refundable. Cancellations within 14 days - no refund due. Cancellations due to a hirer not meeting the terms and conditions set out here in are the responsibility of the hirer and Supreme Sports Car Hire assume no liability what so ever unless stated other wise.

Excess & Security Deposit

(A) As a security bond
(B) As payments towards any mechanical damage which is not covered by our Insurers, i.e. tyres, wheels, clutch, gearbox, which was sustained during the hire period, excluding normal wear and tear, due to misuse and abuse.
(C) As an insurance excess against any accidental damage or loss caused to the vehicle by a third party or the hirer. The hirer is liable for the amount shown as Excess Deposit.
(D) Additional charges incurred during hire for excess mileage and, or, petrol reimbursement charges. The Excess Security Deposit is as per the tariff. Security deposit can be held against a major credit / debit card and will be refunded immediately after the hire (subject to terms listed) so you do not incur any charges. The security bond can be reduced to £2000 by taking out our CDW option at £100 per hire or per week, subject to Supreme Sports Car Hire ltd approval. The security bond will only ever be fully held if any damages to the vehicle result in an insurance claim, in all other instances the cost of the damage only will be deducted.

Liability

Supreme Sports Car Hire Ltd liability is limited to a refund of the hire charge. No consequential loss liability will be covered. Car hire may be cancelled or re-arranged if:
A: The weather is deemed inclement and there for not suitable for hire by Supreme Sports Car Hire Ltd, a suitable replacement date will be arranged or your hire refunded in full.
B: There is a mechanical breakdown of the car, if this occurs and it is feasible to offer an alternative car for the hire we will do so and will reimburse the cost difference for the hire of the substitute vehicle, should we not have another vehicle available or if you choose to not have the replacement offered we will either re-arrange the hire for another day or reimburse you in full for the cost of the hire, Supreme Sports Car Hire accept no responsibility or liability for cancellations under these conditions.
C: Supreme Sports Car Hire Ltd retain the right to refuse hire of our vehicles to any one we deem unsuitable for hire or whom we feel do not fit our criteria for hire or if the hirers age or licence details do not comply with out terms as set out herein.

Use of Vehicle

The hirer may use the vehicle for the purpose of their business and for social domestic and pleasure purposes. The vehicles may not be used for any purposes for which they are not expressly designed. Further, the hirer will not use or permit the vehicles to be used for hire, driving tuition, towing, racing or pace-making, or for competing in any rally, or any other form of motor sport, track days, or for any illegal purpose whatsoever. Allowing a non insured driver to drive our vehicle will result in the loss of your security bond. Supreme Sports Car Hire will also view this as theft of the vehicle and will prosecute with out exception in all cases as theft.

Fuel

You will be provided with a full tank of fuel and the vehicle must be returned with a full tank. If, however, this is not the case any reimbursement for fuel will be charged at the pump price, plus £10* administration charge.

Overseas Travel

Please note none of our cars may be taken out of the UK with out express written permission. Ireland (Eire) is not part of the UK, our cars are also excluded from Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Wight unless by prior arrangement.

Hours of Hire

Standard 2 day weekend hire covers from 9am Sat to 5pm Sunday, 3 day weekend hire covers from Friday between 12pm & 5pm to 9am Monday. 1-day hire covers from 9am to 9am the following day.

8 Hour hire is from 9am to 5pm the same day (Only available Mon to Thursday and up to edge of Band B), other hours may be available please call for details.

Mileage Allowance / Excess Mileage and Late Return charges

The mileage allowance is, 80 miles for 8 hour, 150 miles for 24 hour hire and up to 6 days, 200 miles for standard 2 day weekend hire, 330 miles for 3 day weekend and 100 miles per day on 7 days plus hire. Excess mileage is as per the current Tariff of £1.50 per mile (Inc vat). Returning the car late will incur a cost of £50 per half hour or part thereof with out exception.

Identification

Driving licence and counter part section need to be provided to Supreme Sports Car Hire before hire can commence for all named drivers, also Photo ID in the form of a Passport and a utility bill or credit card statement must also be produced as confirmation of ID, these can be sent by registered mail to our offices, they will be photo copied and returned by registered mail, photocopies are acceptable BUT the originals must be produced on the day of hire, failure to do so would cancel the hire. If upon delivery these documents have not been received or viewed by Supreme Sports Car Hire the hire will be cancelled and our cancellation policy will apply, Supreme Sports Car Hire will also take a photo of any hirer or driver for our records, failure to comply with this request will result in the cancellation of the hire and our cancellation policy coming into force.

Damage / wear and tear

All damage to our cars whilst in the custody of the hirer how ever they arise will be the responsibility of the hirer and Supreme Sports Car Hire Ltd will charge for the cost of the repairs against the Security Bond held against the hire up to the value of the security bond, if requested Supreme Sports Car Hire ltd will provide a quotation for the works from an Aston Martin repair specialist. Any excess wear to the cars tyres will be charged at a pro rata rate for the cost of replacing the tyres, Supreme Sports Car Hire Ltd will provide details of these Charges should they apply, these charges also extend to unreasonable wear and tear on any other part of the car. Vehicles are only fully inspected once returned to our premises, this is due to dirty vehicles / bad light which hamper a full inspection at the clients address, any damage discovered once we have cleaned the vehicle will then be charged, Supreme Sports Car Hire are not limited to noting the damage at the time of pick up of the vehicle for the reasons set out in this clause.

Smoking in Cars

Smoking in our cars is expressly forbidden and will result in the loss of your Security Bond, Supreme Sports Car Hire use a machine to determine if the car has been smoked in, smoking in the car with the window wound down will still show on our machine and will result in the loss of your Security Bond.

Do's and Don'ts

Each of our cars has a specific sheet of Do’s and Don’ts that are specific to the car being hired, the conditions contained therein also form part of the standard terms and conditions listed above, by signing this agreement you are also agreeing to be bound by the additional terms contained with in the Do’s and Don’ts sheet and signing this document confirms that you have been provided with a copy of the Do’s and Don’ts for the vehicle you are hiring.

Speeding tickets / Parking fines

The driver / hirer of the vehicle hereby agrees that he or she shall be liable for all speeding fines and or parking tickets or any other costs or penalties that may be incurred whilst the car is in the position of the hirer or in relation to the manner in which the hirer / driver has driven the car during the hire period.
